T&L was asked to work with the airport company, its largest airline customer, easyJet, and the carriers ground handling agent to demonstrate the benefits of common check-in. With the input and participation of the three stakeholders, our team designed and set up a common check-in operation tailored to easyJets check-in product. The operation followed a demand-driven desk plan and directed passengers through a well-managed end-to-end check-in process. The demonstration resulted in numerous benefits for all three parties.

Gatwick Airport Limited was concerned that the South Terminal baggage hall was becoming congested during peak periods. Following a competitive bidding process, T&L was commissioned to identify the source of the congestion and recommend actions to increase baggage make-up capacity.

Focusing on Britannia Airways' main UK operating airports, Transport & Logistics Consultancy demonstrated the feasibility of a 60 minute turnround for narrow and wide body aircraft in charter configuration. The project enabled Britannia Airways to significantly improve punctuality performance, ensuring the airline retained its reputation as a punctual carrier.
